Latin Cargo Meet (LCM) is a B2B networking event for freight forwarders who focus in the South American region. This conference aims to provide a platform for these freight forwarders to meet and connect with forwarders from the region and develop their businesses to South America further.
The 2015 edition of LCM was held for three days at the 5-star Hilton Sao Paulo Morumbi in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Almost 50 forwarders from different countries, mostly from South America, participated in this networking conference to establish business relationships with each other. They were welcomed with a cocktail reception at the poolside of the neighboring hotel, the Sheraton Sao Paulo Hotel. On the second day, they were given the opportunity to meet fellow attendees and discuss business, and were brought to a sumptuous dinner at the Fogo de Chao, serving them authentic brazilian dinner.
On the third day, face2face meetings were held at the Intermodal Exhibition to also give them the opportunity to meet other forwarders, alliances, and software providers who were exhibiting at the expo.
Organizing the Latin Cargo Meet was a challenging yet rewarding task. The team had to work on a shifting schedule to invite South American forwarders (since our office is located in the Philippines). Seeing the satisfaction and smiles from the participants’ faces made all our efforts worth it.
